Education - Community - Inclusion
200 Varieties of the Freshest Vegetables Grown in CT
Lewis Educational Agriculture Farm
Works to promote education through agriculture experiences on the historic 230 year old Lewis Family Farm in Southington, Connecticut. We bring classroom subjects to life, incorporating agricultural farming practices that are socially and ecologically beneficial while connecting learning through hands-on education. Through education and the products cultivated at the LEAF, we work to establish the relationship between community and the impact of having a healthy, sustainable food supply. The LEAF is a place of inclusion, where experiences connect us to each other and to the land that sustains us.
Happening at The LEAF
The Southington YMCA Camp Slopers has joined forces with the LEAF are offering the opportunity for children to attend Summer Farm Camp. Our Farm Campers will be expanding their knowledge of sustainable farming practices while
having lots fun.
